Metascience 2023 (May 9-10)

Metascience 2023 will include virtual events scheduled in mid-April and early May and in-person events to be held on May 9th and 10th at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington DC. The following is a summary of the events that are available for proposals. Proposals will be reviewed starting on January 23rd, 2023. Proposals received after that date may still be considered, but only if there is still availability in the program.

We strongly encourage submissions prior to January 23, 2023. Further, we especially encourage submissions from members of groups that are underrepresented in metascience specifically, and scholarly research more generally, to foster an inclusive program.

Is anybody going to metascience 2023 in person? Share here if you are thinking about submitting a proposal and looking for a collaborator!

Registration is now open and travel awards are available:

All currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, and postdocs, are eligible to apply for conference travel awards. Members of historically underrepresented groups in science are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Travel awards will be $300 plus waiver of the registration fee ($85 for students). Awardees who have already paid for meeting registration will receive a refund of that fee. All eligible applicants submitting for a travel award before 4 pm ET on March 20, 2023 will be entered into a lottery for awards.

Virtual symposia supported by AIMOS and RoRI have now been announced and are open for registration.

The agenda is now up, and livestreaming will be available for all sessions!
