> In this workshop, we will discuss the ever-increasing importance of data management planning to the grant proposal process, both in the United States and globally. We will discuss the steps you should take and the things you need to consider before preparing a data management plan (DMP). With all the information gathered and decisions made, we will introduce the online, multilingual DMPtool used by researchers around the world to generate DMPs specifically tailored to a wide variety of funding institutions, from national and topic-based research agencies to foundations and non-profit grant-supporting institutions. Several example DMPs will be examined. The workshop will conclude with a DMPTool tutorial where you can draft your own data management plan, asking for help as needed.
