# igdore.org mail addresses not accepted by PubPeer

Dear all, trying to create a signed account at [pubpeer.com](http://pubpeer.com) failed because the [igdore.org](http://igdore.org) domain of my address was not accepted. Is this known? Can something be done about this?

Hi @ralf-st

I think that pubpeer might require an email address from a .edu domain to make a new account. However, I have an account that I switched to my @igdore.org address, so it is possible to have this as an email address. I would suggest getting in contact with them, it seems like they are fairly flexible about making accounts manually.
