A nice summary of the work that the [Institute for Replication](https://i4replication.org/index.html) is doing

[Replication games: how to make reproducibility research more systematic](https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-02997-5)

> We think that efforts such as ours that normalize replication will ultimately put pressure on funders and journals to play their part. We are excited to see replication efforts in our fields — and others — continue to expand. Systematic replication has the potential to make correcting science faster. Let the games begin.

This will be a very important field of research in itself! Like the journalists who investigate other journalists’ work.

See also [https://rescience.github.io/](https://rescience.github.io/)

They have their own journal completely hosted on github.

I like the idea of their [Ten Years Reproducibility Challenge](https://rescience.github.io/ten-years/) although I’m not sure if it actually went ahead.
