The first edition of Ronin Lightning Talks begins next Monday (22nd January) at 1200 ET/1700 UTC. We have [William Donald](https://ronininstitute.org/research-scholars/william-e-donald/), [Maria Jakubik](https://ronininstitute.org/research-scholars/maria-jakubik/) and co to present on their new books. This event may be of interest to us since even if we do not work in their field (university, careers), what they have to present may be relevant to our career-building as independent researchers within or outside the university institution.
