**Title** : Automated mycelium microstructural characterization with image processing artifact prediction

**Summary** : This talk discusses fungal mycelium as a biomaterial, its applications, and the process of microstructure characterization based on scanning electron microscope images, the challenges of micrograph knowledge extraction and how machine learning can help automate the identification of imaging artifacts.

**Title** : A review of near-infrared photobiomodulation for oncological treatment

**Summary** : The presentation will provide an overview of photobiomodulation (PBM), alternatively known as low-level light therapy. This talk explores the use cases of PBM, and the current clinical efficacy. Lastly, the talk will explore how PBM is currently being used in oncological treatment, as well as providing non-invasive options for disease-free progression.
