I would like to share a new publication on the emergence of the Bornö Marine Research Station and its role in the development of Swedish hydrography. The article examines the station’s establishment in 1902 and its subsequent evolution into an important centre for marine observations, international scientific cooperation, and the institutionalisation of oceanographic research in Sweden.
