I got cold emailed by ReviewerCredits recently - it seems to be the next iteration of the ‘reviewers should get compensated for their work’ discussion (see here and here) that combines Publons and a rewards program.
I guess any reward is better than nothing but given a $50 gift card is 25 reviewer credits and a review gives 1-10 credits, it doesn’t seem like the rewards will be much of an incentive.
Thoughts?
