Hanjo Hamann

Warm welcome to IGDORE, Hanjo Hamann!

Hanjo holds a master’s degree in law from Stanford University, as well as doctoral degrees in both law and economics from German universities. He now works at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods as a senior research fellow. His research on the German law of contracts and corporations often takes him into adjacent disciplines including quantitative social sciences and digital humanities. As an alumnus of Wikimedia’s Free Knowledge Fellowship, he is committed to open research practices, promotes open access to German legal research, and has initiated various projects for open legal data.
