Hey guys…
I’m currently exploring ways to bridge the gap between independent researchers like myself and traditional academic institutions. I believe that fostering collaborations between these two groups can bring fresh perspectives, diverse methodologies, and innovative solutions to various fields of study.
However, I often find it challenging to initiate and maintain meaningful collaborations. Many independent researchers face similar difficulties due to a lack of access to institutional resources, databases, and funding opportunities that academics might have more readily available. At the same time, there seems to be a certain level of skepticism from some within traditional academia about the validity or rigor of research conducted outside their walls.
-
How to identify potential academic partners
-
How to approach potential collaborators
-
How to build trust and credibility
-
How to navigate institutional barriers
-
How to create mutually beneficial arrangements
I also check this: https://onscienceandacademia.org/t/how-do-early-career-researchers-become-independentsalesforce-dev But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this?
Thanks in advance!
