Launch of Translate Science

A project I’ve helped a bit with has just launched. I think some folks here might be interested.

Translate Science is interested in the translation of the scholarly literature. Translate Science is an open volunteer group interested in improving the translation of the scientific literature. The group has come together to support work on tools, services and advocate for translating science.

In the next few weeks I should have a blog post of my own up there about how I produce scientific translations, including a lot of best practices I’ve developed over the years.

This is a great initiative, Ben! I hope that it gets some traction, it seems like this could really help increase the accessibility of scientific articles for many audiences.
