Warm welcome to IGDORE, Réka Mizsei!
Dr Mizsei is a Research Fellow in structural immunology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and at Harvard Medical School. She received her MS summa cum laude in Chemistry from Eötvös Loránd University for her work in the structural basis of ligand selectivity in inclusion complex formation. She was awarded her PhD summa cum laude at Semmelweis University for her research in the molecular pathomechanism of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase deficiency. Dr Mizsei investigates the mechanism of self-versus-nonself discrimination in the immune system using protein engineering, NMR spectroscopy and crystallography.
